What things did you have back in the day that are worth a small fortune nowadays.
I had a few Evil Kneivel toys. and loads of original Star Wars figures |

I don't think I've had anything that would be worth a few bob today. But I did manage to earn quite a bit when I was around 14-16 with babysitting, working in the holidays, and other part time jobs. During the summer holidays especially I'd often have £150-200 a week to spend on whatever I wanted and be completely selfish with, I'd like to have this back, now with Children and a mortgage my brain just won't let me.

never had anything of value really - when i was very young i used to collect 'whimsies' - i had loads and all their boxes - have no idea what happened to them - i used to buy first day covers of commemorative postage stamps - they cost a bit and i remember giving them away - wish now i still had all of them - my dad had all those cards i think from tea ???? books and piles of those - |

I collect CGC rated comics and had to get a few insured for value, a few gen 1 transformers etc all in a box for my kids when they grow up..
Started collecting olly moss prints and disney stuff for there collection too.

Some dolls and teddy bears that are probably worth less than at jumble sale prices then.
But these valuable things are only worth lots of money because most of them were not kept or got broken. If people had kept Batman toys en masse they'd be cheaper now.

Bought a mk2 escort harrier for £50 in the mid 90's. Parents got fed up with it being in their garage so I cut it up with a stihl saw and sent it for scrap..... There was one on a well known Internet auction site recently for around 20 grand |
