Now I know alot of us have encountered timewasters during our swinging life.Without of course, naming and shaming, and due to the fact I have a streaming cold and want cheering up,have any of you any examples of bizarre or hilarious excuses for a no show?

Um had a meet planned for a while, then all of a sudden the guys long lost brother who he hadn't seen in months suddenly turned up out of the blue. OK, fair enough, this was at 9 in the morning. Meet wasn't planned until evening.

Next one, was staying in a hotel. A guy messaged me. Great! Chatted he agreed to pop over for a drink. Never turned up. Then he messaged to say that as he was leaving to meet me, his friend had a seizure and he had to look after him. I hope to god that wasn't true, because I'd be in that handcart to hell for laughing.

Bristol

His exhaust fell off.

He wasn't lying, it actually did. So instead of a couples meet I went on my own and had an MFF. I sent him picture updates to entertain him as he sat at home waiting for his courtesy car though; I'm nice like that.

He fell off a roof. Few weeks later I met him and he was still all bruised.

Had arranged to meet a couple. She texted to say her granddad had died and she didn't feel up to meeting.

Few minutes later he mailed to say they were looking forward to it.

They clearly hadn't got their stories straight.

London

We had an awesome one.

Couple here, we messaged a bit, added them to friends, exchanged kiks, chatted etc.

Started to make plans to meet and the guy (who we were making the plans with) just stopped responding. Our messages were read and the profile went online often.

I Messaged often (like an idiot lol) greeting them, asking them if they were OK, etc...

Finally after a while I just messaged and told them I guessed they aren't interested so we won't keep messaging and bothering them.

Immediately get a message back saying that things have been tough and he has been unable to go online. Because his computer was broken and his phone had been on silent and he never looks at the screen when he unlocks it so never saw my message notifications

This confused me since kik is on mobile phones and it said he had read all my messages. Also I had seen the profile had been online often and the "never checking notifications" thing... I don't know.

Would have appreciated an honest "couldn't be bothered" or simply "not interested"

When I said that perhaps we could get in touch when they weren't going through so much stress we were told "suit yourself"

Weird one.

ST. AUSTELL, CORNWALL

Had a guy say that I'd had such a good meet on the Tues with another guy that he didn't think I'd want to meet him on Thurs, so he cancelled, same guy suddenly had a friend to stay on a previous occasion on the day of the meet, and no, I didn't give him a third chance despite his efforts lol
