Men used to say it to me when I had no pics and just a dot for profile text.

I did once have a 'proper' pic but the damage was done. I just don't believe the shite they mail me any more.

Two things:

Seeing someone as beautiful and being sexually attracted to them aren't always the same thing.

Reassuring someone who is low on confidence may sometimes involve saying how nice they look but without any real attraction behind it.

I'm sure it happens with some people, some will say anything for a shag. Personally I'd never tell someone they were attractive if I didn't find them as such.

However, there have been times were I've complimented a woman and she's been to insecure to accept the compliment. Sadly that happens all too often and it can usually be traced back to a partner who has made them feel unattractive, even worthless. Shame on them.

I tend not to compliment looks as they're either seen as fake or brushed away.

Once people get to know me they soon realise I mean what I say and never say something out of politeness or to achieve some end or other.

If I ask you about your day I honestly want to know, if I say you're attractive it is because I'm attracted to you, simples.

Well there you have it guys. Most ladies think you'll say anything just to get a shag and don't believe almost all of what they read from you. Therefore you may wonder what's the point..

Interestingly, I've been lucky enough to have two meets since joining and both have contacted me first. Other messages sent because I like the profile or think we're looking for the same things get deleted.

Maybe there's a moral there ?
