Andy Warhol said: “Sex is more exciting on the screen and between the

pages than between the sheets.” What do you think about this quote?

Got to love a good Mills & Boon, surely?

Can't stand Mills N Boon ... but he's right .......it's the thought, anticipation , longing and lusting that makes the agonies of watching and reading so sweet .....

I would like to see that film or book he was talking about as they must be epic. Personally no book or film has ever given me an experience that I can compare to a good 2 hour session.

The sex scenes in books are written in a very romanticised way that I find almost embarrassing to read.

Well I havent read any Mills and Boon for probably the same, late teens, but the guys were always masterful and had offices which smelt of leather and they would hate each other but look at each other smolderingly.

But even in some thrillers or chic lit books, the sex scenes, written for todays modern woman, are still romanticised. You never get anyone writing that after their husbands pull our, their sperm can run down your leg if you get up too quick. Or that a noise can happen if he pulls out too quickly after coming. That doesnt seem to happen to the female characters, but it happens to me all the time

Of course it appears better, when the act is described in a well-written prose, or when filmed, where the performance is a well shot sequence which is artistically directed…. The question is a no brainier really,,,,, imho, that is.....

Sex can be a pure meeting of bodies, a bit like an itch that needs scratching. When it is a meeting of minds, then it becomes erotic and so much more than a purely physical experience. And thats all I got to say about that
