I'm not normally one to post asking for fabs, or anything but have been having a rough couple of weeks and today has been particularly bad that I've cried most of the day. So rather than drinking myself to oblivion I thought that you all could cheer me up. So what way can you make me smile again? X  |

Aw, sorry to hear that lovely. It's not much fun being sad. I've just been for a walk with my dog. It always lifts me watching her checking out the bunnies and rolling in shit  Put some music on loud, eat something naughty and run a bubbly bath? x |

Just a suggestion, but when you feel shit, grab a pen and paper and write down a list of all the best things in your life, or that have happened to you - and especially your achievements. It's quite good at putting life in perspective. When things are shit it often feels like a big black hole, but the reality is that (for the most part) it's a turning point leading you toward something good that you don't yet know about. Keep your chin up - or at least get d*unk, say 'fuck it' and get and go again tomorrow. NEVER QUIT! X M & E |

I've just been diagnosed with cancer, so today I am taking a day off my meds and I'm enjoying a French orange infused gin or three and realising it could be worse..
I could in fact be Piers Morgan or Donald Trump..
It does seem we both have plenty to be thankful for.. |

I understand that sentiment because I remember i once went to work a bit flat and got accused of bringing the team down and I was like WTF, can't I have a bad day? - my job wasn't team motivator by the way !!!!... but I'm rambling and not meaning to .... my point is when you're usually happy etc, people can forget that we/you DO have limits and do need cheering up ... so have a glass of wine or cuppa and talk to those who will make you rise again to the lovely lady that you really ARE x |
