I do this every year for charity but I'm one of the lucky minority who never get a hangover regardless of what I've put away. |

Do people honestly sponsor you to give up drink? Or do you donate what you would have spent on booze?"
We do it as a rugby club so members sponsor us and I also donate my beer tokens to the charity too. It's always a local charity so it's well worth it. |

I've not had a drink since Saturday when I turned 50. The first few days was easy but I'm gagging for a beer now. Going to PDI on the 9th of October so that will be a month. Can I do mine now and get back on it in October? |

This perplexes me every year, it may be for a good cause, however I feel it is somewhat marred by all those that struggle to get through a month without drinking.

Nope.. I never do sober for October.... as my birthday is in October... I once spent an entire week in a pub for my birthday haha
On a side note... I'm going jaydees on 7th to celebrate my birthday (birthday is 8th) .... open invite to anybody who wants a drink with me |
