When you see the message in you inbox:-
Subject: x
Body: Hi
And you know the script will be...
You: Hi
Them: How are you? (Or if they're super lazy "wyd"
...
When I see this I cringe and delete the message. It's like the conversation you have while waiting for someone to check the price on an item that scanned up wrong. I get more interesting and engaging conversation with the people in the waiting room at the vet. |

Once when I was at a loss on how to be a creative in a message I just wrote the scenario of me thinking about what to write and how I went into blank day dream.
I continued describing about the daydream and when I came out of it I was actually thinking about shopping, so I just got to the point and asked for sex lol.
Worked like a charm... |

I understand why their first message may be just "hi". I'll reply and then they may start chatting normally after that. No point making an effort in a first mail when 99% of the time it will just get deleted.
If they carry on with one word messages I just keep replying with one word answers. |

Ref the stupid "hi" messages. I've now put an extra paragraph on my profile warning people I will just delete and not reply to these...but still get them...and still delete them.
