realistically, no that's impossible.
but if it was possible to eat yourself and survive that then you'd lose a little weight each time and not be able to digest yourself fully either. so i'd say you'd be hungry also, probabbly malnutritioned too. |

Assuming surgical removal and amputation allowed to heal etc
You dont need much
You can live on: 2/3 of one kidney, 1/3 of your small intestines, 1/3 of your stomach (like the people with gastric bypass) half of one lung (if you just plan to lie in bed for the rest of your life). 1/2 of a thryoid, Your liver can regrow from a piece 1/5 the size of the original. You can remove most of your forebrain and cerebellum and leave only the respiratory areas of the brain stem intact (but that effectively turns you into a vegetable). You can lop off all of the limbs, eyes, thymus, bladder, large intestine, gallbladder, tongue, reproductive organs, and sensory organs as they are not needed for survival ..as for size you would only get smaller as you would diegest and then shit out the bits you ate |

If you did it repeatedly you'd eventually shrink to the size of your little finger.
At that stage you'd need to start eating other people to grow in size again but it would be hard to find other tiny people. It would be best to do it together with a few friends who would be willing for you to snack on them at a later stage. |

Ever decreasing amounts of yourself left. As 3sq says, there's an overhead on ingestion and digestion that would diminish the energy for growth. Not to mention energy for respiration.

Theoretically, if you compare the human body to a computer, several components are not required for it to still function, such as the case, sound card, DVD drive, various wires and USB ports ect,
These can be removed and various wires can be shortened, what is left can be layed out and the PC will still work providing vital components are still connected.
Obviously a surgeon would be needed, arms and legs could be removed, as could the majority of the skin, skeleton, muscles and nervous system. Arteries, veins and blood vessels can be cauterised, shortened or bypassed as necessary to maintain blood flow where needed, the digestive system could be shortened considerably.
