Im sorry but your 'im leaving post' came across as whiney and wanting people to talk you into staying. And not really serious about leaving. Which you didnt since your still here.
This guy (opppssss cant mind the op's name) is saying bye for a valid reason. He has a hard year studing coming up. Hes not moaning, hes not wanting folks to talk him into staying, hes simply saying bye to those he knows.

i dont do sympathy votes so if thats how it read pardon me for my use of english not being correct. we all hv hard times and i think finding out someone you know has cancer classes as that. i didnt leave just took time out.

I dont think people not begging you to stay is abuse.
Dont re write history. When you posted your 'bye' thread it had nothing to do with someone having cancer. You were looking for attention. People seen that and responed accordingly.
And on the point of someone you know having cancer, well they cant be very close to you, cause I know if someone I loved had that kind of news I wouldnt be on here, my profile would be hidden for a good long time.
That will be my last post on this.
This is someone elese thread, which was a nice feel good thread. Up to a point.
