No you shouldn't, I agree, but it works - might also help (in some cases!!) to make it clear in your profile that you're not interested in men.
What probably works against you too is your one displayed veri is from a guy, now I can see that it's a social very only - but sadly some will see you've been veri'd by a guy and look no further than that, assuming (wrongly) that you're "Fab straight" - not a lot you can do about that apart from hiding your veris and the summary. |

Either set your filters or accept it. Look at it as a compliment perhaps. You aren't gonna catch the ghey or anything from it.

No sympathy for anyone who whinges about being pestered. It's a pet hate when I see (mainly) women's status updates about being fed up of all the messages they are getting. There are filters there for a reason! Use them and you will never be contacted by anyone you don't want to be. |
