I'd engineer a device that people needed to make life easier than make them do tasks for me, making the best of what ever skills they could offer when ever I needed then for a small amount of usage of the device every month.

I'm a mechanical engineer. I worked in Christchurch after the earthquake in 2011 so helping with the rebuild in Mexico and Guatemala would be spiritually rewarding.

Its not so much about making them do tasks rather sharing in a fair way but I like your thinking x
