"Pulled pork
This! In the slow cooker
Good morning
You think slow cooker rather than casserole dish on low in the oven?"
Definitely, slow cooker all the way. The delicious smell will have you salivating all day though but worth it |

Slow cook it adding half a bottle of white wine to the stock then add celery, onions, a few fresh tomatoes and as many different beans as you can get, serve with crispy rosemary roast potatoes, removing the skin first to add as crackling when serving. |

For future reference OP
Sit your joint in water, garlic, ginger, onions and any spices you may like/want for 12 hrs. Make sure the liquid covers your meat.
Then add any veggies and cook on low for a further 8-10 hrs.
Take it out and rest it for 30 mins then bang it in the oven for the same amount of time on like gas mark 4/5.
It's lush! And goes so far! |

INtersting the removing letting it rest then go again
Presume you put it back into the original fluids so it's does not dry out?
It's lush! And goes so far! "

Get it hot, and keep it hot for quite a while. Then it will be cooked
Personally I would take the rind off and cook that in a hot oven both to make crackling and to reduce the fat in the slow cooker, then slow cook the rest in cider. |

"Do the rind sepetatky for the cracking is that the way?
Always left it on scored plenty of oil and seasoning "
You can't get crackling when slow cooking especially not in liquid. So for the best of both you need to separate them.
Personally I am going with duck today, cos it was in the reduced section |
