You say "No thanks to someone" and you get
"BUT i was going to buy you dinner or buy you a few drinks if you met me"
Is it me or are these type of replies becoming more and more the norm now?
and whats some of your replies with the BUT

I don't know. If I'm turned down I don't try and go back for more. It would be 1) rude to try again if their disinclination was made pretty clear and 2) approaching someone again knowing the outcome would be a no would be masochistic in a way I don't enjoy. So it's a lose/lose for all parties. |

I can't say I've ever gone back in with a "but...."
If it's a no I just accept it and move on, if there's no reply I just accept it and move on. I can understand why some people don't reply when they're not interested in case there's a torrent of abuse that follows.
I've only ever had one couple come back at me after I said no thank you, it earned them a simple block and again....I moved on. |

I think part of it could be down to there being more and more women taking advantage of some men. Got a woman on my local updates last night asking for someone to buy her a meal from eat.com, and earlier that day another offering to send pics and vids for money. Personally I find these type of women disgusting. |
