just watching daybreak and the guy cookingjust said he was going to wash his hands as he had just handled raw meat and then proceeded to rinse in water alone
this actually drives me batty why do peeps think a quick rinse constitutes a wash
i see it in public loos all the time just a quick flick under the water
i'm not an ocd hand washer by any stretch of the imagination but come on people soap is needed for hand washing

totaally agree. with meats etc they should be washed properly because you can still feel the slim and fat on your hands.
Also the toilet thing pisses me off too. cant speak for wome on here but i see a lot of guys just shake, zip and go. you would think that becoming an adult you would learn to wash your hands, at the very least when there are people around. For that reason i now carry tissues with me so i can open the door without having "cock hands" lol |

its not a problem in a swinging stuation, but good hygeine should be observed. Ive had a meet and been to the loo just before the "get down" and washed my hands and dried them properly (dont want to be accused of pissy hands lol).
The problem is most times i go to the loo at work etc is when im about to eat and i dont want someones cock to add or detract from the flavour of my meal/snack |

I always carry wipes with me, i wipe the seat before i use it in a public toilet and wipe my hands afterwards. Then i dont need to queue for the washhand basin. Probely looks as though i come out the loo and havent washed my hands before i leave but i know different |

i am a zealous hand washer. and use gloves when at work, due to being a carer...
i had to give a ten minute presentation on effective hand washing during a team meeting a few weeks back.
heres a handy  tip.. you should wash your hands for aleast 30 seconds, or the time it takes to sing happy birthday to me twice, and infact using hand dryers actually increases bacteria by 117% so hand towels are the most hyginic way to dry your hands,,, and if you use hand towels. i hold on to mine to use it to turn of the tap as well...

good tip, but hand towels can be just as bad but im guessing not as bad as hand dryers. But hand dryers are only bad if you have not washed your hand properly in the first place as the heate accelerates the production of bacteria.
Were i work we have push down taps which pop back up (too damn early im my opinion) we have a hand dryer and paper towels and i always keep teh towel and open the door then hold the door open with ym leg and throw the towel in the bin and run out.

My ocd was so bad at one time i would crawl round carpets smelling them.
It took a long while to cure and the fact that i dont even think about touching door handles means to me that im 100% better |
