Question :

If you were given a choice to play either :

1) Retro games from the 80s and 90s

2) Latest PS4 games

3) Virtual Reality games

which one would you play?

Assuming all three are just there in front of you, you could just pick one to start playing.

Beyond the shadows.

If I was forced to chose one I'd got for No.1 . But In reality I only got time for one game in my life.

DO you know you can get emulators for your computer so you don't have to have a "setup"? I play my emu more than the Xbox, currently Fatal Rewind on the MD, so I guess I'd be in the retro clique, too.

PS4/Xbox one

As much as I love retro gaming, they'll sadly never bring anything new.

As a gamer, I relish the challenge a new game can bring

Yeah but sometimes you can't beat the original console set up, no matter how accurate the emulation is.

Yes I have gone down that route before... nothing quite beats the authenticity of having to blow into a cartridge to get it to work first

None of the above.

I'm far more geekier than those and spent most of my gaming days on PC.

Age of empires anyone?

Ps4 or vr. I liked the old retro games but the whole time I played them in the 80s etc I was hoping that one day we'd be playing the games we are playing now lol

So yeah modern games are well better but there's still one or two old games that just nailed it and will always be fun.

Worms and lemmings are two of those. And spy hunter on the speccy.

Definitely option 1 for retro games. All my best gaming memories come from playing the classics all the way back yo the Commodore 64. Games can be a little cookie cutter now with a few exceptions obviously, they do look rather pretty though!

Anyhoo *raises hand* retro ftw
