"Tbh I can't get my head around how this show ever took off "
Probably because it's good quality family entertainment...
It certain kicks TOWIE and Made in Chelsea to the kerb... |

It is far better than the X Factor...
Cue teen who has wanted to sing all her life.. That will be for about 6 years then in reality and has waited until she was old enough for her 15 minutes of fame.

"Never fathomed the Tango or Waltz but I'm an expert at a d*unken 'Oops upside your head' "
Great tune...
The dance comps I entered always used to end with an en masse 'Timewarp' after the medals ceremony... |

Apparently there's a documentary on another channel. It's called "TV Snobs" and it's for TV snobs to learn about alpha waves, which TVs pump out and dull the brain, no amtter what you're watching. So while they're getting all sniffy about some show or other they never wstch but have determined its quality, they're sitting there feeling all superior and cynically pissy while actually being in the same mental state as staring at a wall. Meanwhile, those of us who recognise it's just a bit of fun are having a lovely time looking at fabulous frocks and being happy that somebody has learned to dance.
I don't like the fisrt show, though, where they match up the celebs with the pros. It's all surprised faces and "Oh My God, I'm so happy, I was REALLY hoping I'd be put with X."
Not so keen on the new X Factor auditions. They seem to have studio-processed the auditions so they're almost finished product. Jeez, at this rate, even Morrissey could pass an audition. |
