Don't like them. Uglier than tats. They hold you up at airport security, too. I'm standing there thinking, "You had to try to be so cool and now look at you, heading for a cavity search."
And BTW, tats are no longer cool and rebellious. They're so common now that they're passé and not having tats is where the cool kids are at. |

"So that's a resounding 'no', then!
Just out of interest, which piercings do you like?"
i like them and wouldn't mind one myself, just scared of not being able to breathe when the tongue swells after it's done.
i like all piercings except for genital ones. |

"I can't stop thinking about getting it done lately, but for the first time ever when thinking about piercings I'm worried about folk will perceive me. So, what are folks' thoughts?"
Can't think why anyone would want this. I know 4 people who have had this done and 3 of them have devoloped a lisp. |

Let me correct the facts.
Airport security - no problems at all. Thank goodness for us all that the idiot that posted that is UNLOS!
Your tongue will be swollen for a few days but you'll still be able to breathe.
You'll not develop a lisp - I know hundreds of people with tongue piercings. Yes, your speech will be affected for a few days due to the swelling but after that - no problem.
Tooth damage can occur but a good piercer piercing in the right place with the correct length of jewellery should prevent that.
Aside from the psychological aspect of it, it isn't going to physically improve sex, although they do make vibrating jewellery for temporary use that is supposed to be nice - I've not experienced it myself. |

I had one for years.
Did nothing for me, or the ladies.
Took it out a few years ago, as all it ever did was damage my teeth, everytime I accidentally bit on it.
Looking back it wasn't a cool look even.

3 people I know HAVE developed slight lisps. They didn't have them before the piercings. |

It's a good look, but I have been cut by one when the butterfly thing came off her tongue stud during a BJ once..
I just remembered the line in "Chris Rock – No Sex in the Champagne Room" as well.. lol |
