I've not lived at home sinse I was 17 so I'm very domesticated.

But when I comes to staining (chocolate mainly) my whites I'm useless at getting them out.

Little tips anyone as I've ruined one of my favourite jumpers grrrr?

Rub some liquid laundry detergent on it and soak it in cold water for 30 minutes.

Try rubbing Vanish onto the back and front of the stain too.

With whites. Use that vanish oxy-action stuff. Works a treat

I have a little vanish stain block. Looks like a bar of soap. I rub it on the stain and wash. Usually works

fabric stain remover - lots of different ones for sale i find them all ok ---- the best is maybe vanish foam but then washing up liquid and cold water usually gets most out as well -

Vodka gets most stains out.

My daughter had permanent marker on the sleeve of a lovely white coat before and I washed it once and it didn't shift so used vodka on it and it came out.
