So, today I have an appointment with a lady who is gonna attempt to get inside me. Well, inside my head that is. She's going to be dissecting my past and issues I have with manipulation and deception (from trusted people in my life) Basically it sends me batshit crazy. This week I have to somehow fit an 11 year relationship into an hour. Oh what joy.

So, I'm probably gonna be feeling pretty shitty afterwards. I'm asking you guys to tell me something that will make me smile.

Go on then, tell me something funny, something sweet, something that will put a grin on my Chevy Chase.

A couple of weeks ago I was just getting out of the shower in the gym. I thought I was in there alone so walked out into the changing room with my towel over my shoulder... bumping into the female cleaner as I rounded the corner. She looked down... looked straight back up into my eyes ... went red... said "sorry" and ran out of the changing room!

Understand that, facing our own demons is the hardest thing and I'm not sure I could do it. Take it easy and there is always the option to stop until another day. You're a strong lady and though it's hard it will be good for you x

Thanks all for your well wishes. We started and ended completely off topic,in fact the ex never even got a mention. I'm gonna have to trust she knows what she's doing. We spoke about work, my relationships with family members, and walking in the park.

Stick with the sessions.......at times you will not want to do it as it hurts and makes you sad. But it will get better, been there and it takes a little faith that all the talking gets anywhere but it does in the end...!!

Wishing you clarity, answers, peace and a renewed lust for life x...

Psychology seems to be trending for my mates and me this year, got a few who are in therapy, just out of therapy or who are DIY therapy-ing (aka me lol)... We all seem to be feeling way better about ourselves than we did at the beginning of the year... Something about being proactive helps take charge of the situation, even if it can sometimes take awhile to clear a lot of the issues.

After a really really tough year, I'm gonna be returning to work on the 8th Jan

I'm nervous, excited and generally feeling like I've kicked it's arse.

I know I haven't. I'm aware of the scars, but hopefully I can deal with them rather than breaking this time round.

That's it Peach. When we realise we can't do anything about some things that are thrown at us, we can then deal with how we react to it. We can either stand still and let it hit us square in the face, or react differently, move or dodge it, and get on with our lives.
