I'm actually not! I do love a tall man - the taller the better - but it's not a deal breaker
So why do put a height on the profile when they're clearly not if they are going to be meeting?
Do they think we won't notice?

Same reason they use old pictures that looks nothing like them anymore. I guess they hope that by the time they turn up you'll just say "fuck it, you're here now"  |

I went on a social a couple of years ago with a guy who had 6 foot on his profile but was more like 5 foot 5 in real life. I asked him why he lied, and he said that most women state they only want tall men and wouldn't talk to him if he had his real height on his profile, and that he hoped that his personality would "impress" me instead.
So I guess that's one perspective

On our social, will we be sitting down, I might get away with it. If her favourite position is doggy blindfolded, I still can definitely add a couple of inches on my height. |

I have no idea but I'm honest about my height. I'm not short but I do get the feeling I would get more meets if a little taller, hey ho. |

As long as they're the same height or taller than me, I don't care. Yes, I love really tall guys but imagine all the super lovely ones you could miss out on by being so specific on your height preferences. |

I'm only 5'8" and of course that limits the ladies who are interested but it's never held me back it's just how it is. That said my ex wife was taller than me and I've just started seeing a lady who is 5'10"  |

I'm 6' so yes, I do prefer a man the same height as me, I also like to wear heels, so I'm topping put at around 6'4" then.
I'm strong & want a man who can physically match that.
Saying that my long term FB is only 5'9" but he's built like a brick outhouse! |

It's a shame that you'd only feel feminine if the guy was taller.
That would mean I would only feel masculine if the woman was shorter, yet I've stood next to taller woman and felt amazing. |

I have arranged many a meet with a 5'10 guy knowing I'm still gonna be over 6'0 and when they arrive I don't think they are actually over 5'7
Yes I prefer tall guys but yes I've met some right hotties that are shorter but please just be honest and I will put my flats on instead

I once had a meet where the guy said he was over 6ft, so I wore heels as I am a short arse at 5'2, turns out he was shorter than me, which just didnt work I prefer my meets to not be too tall, I do not like straining my neck to kiss |

I am not sure what all the fuss is about over really tall men.
I personally prefer a guy who is a similar height or just a little taller than me. Dont want to stand on tiptoe or crane my neck to have a snog! |
