Why is it when you wash your smalls....socks ... knickers etc

You always lose a sock

I turn the drum and it's not there

I put the pair in ...i know I did

Does is it happen to anyone else or is just me

I blame the knickers. They eat everything.

I always count my socks when I put them in and when I take them out I pair them up straight away that way I never have a problem with missing ones!

I don't count them but I know there all in pairs so all pairs should come out .....but they don't

Yes op.i get the same thing,i wash loads of socks for my nephews,and pairs go in but dont come out.

I just conducted a scientific experiment by doing my washing which included a weeks worth of socks. Both pairs made it unscathed.

So it's deffo you

No matter how many times I try to put pairs of socks together in the wash one always goes missing. The fecking sock monster has a lot to answer for

My solution is all black socks. Except for a few special pairs doesn't matter if they go missing lol.
