Not so little, ours starts college tomorrow. Makes me feel old

Not sure about having money in our pockets. Can see it's going to cost us more. Bank of Mum & Dad is going to be bled dry.

Cardiff

Daughter starts college tomorrow and even though I'll get some of it back it's cost me loads so far.

£30 course fee

£40 driving licence for photo I'D (quicker than replacing expired passport)

£44 dbs check

£16 polo shirts

£50 rail card

£20 folders and stationary

we've had to open a bank account and I needed to buy a birth certificate £10.

Plus I treated her 10 days ago on results day

We/she should get EMA money and gave me a funny look when I said she can pay some of that back.

Good luck to all our kids starting new chapters tomorrow.

I remember her first day in nursery, the college told me 'let her walk to the train station and leave it at that'.
