Was chatting to my mother this morning and she was telling me about a band she'd been to see. They played very new modern, material and my mum said they did a lot of songs by 'that lass' which she really enjoyed.
"Which lass do you mean, mum?" I asked. Her reply "Oh you know - her that can't keep a lad and goes on and on about it".
After further probing turns out she meant Adele... 
Adele does seem to have been through the mill but Bruce Springstsen seems to live his life on his front porch and Rod Stewart can't think of any other word to rhyme with hesitate except late in a lot of his lyrics.
Which artist goes on a bit in your eyes and sticks to the expected? |
