Before i start i am aware it's not Thursday but....

Just lately it seems to me that regardless of which direction i head out of town on my way to work someone, somewhere is digging the road up. Traffic lights (often 3 way), delays. It's doing my head in.

It's just the same round here. Probably everywhere. The summer holiday season is always peak season for digging up roads.

It's usually Feb/March because councils have to spend their road budgets in order to get them for the next financial year.

For August, I'd guess the roads are quieter because people are away on holiday.

This is basically the same as where I live at the moment. Also I work 28 miles away and had the same problem at work getting home. Nightmare!!!

The amount of road tax I pay, I would like these pot holes fixed.

On one particular route i was faced with 3 separate works on what should have been a 15 minute journey, complete with the obligatory traffic lights. This lasted over a month.
