Give Ireland Back to the Irish - Wings
McCartney's first solo single in 1972. EMI refused to put it out, so he refused to rcord anything else unless they did. It was immediatley banned by the BBC. Later that year "Hi Hi Hi" would also be banned by the Beeb. SO that was Wings banned twice by the BBC four years before the Sex Pistols. |
