It seems Tripoli is close to falling to the legitimate people's council of Libya. I sure hope they catch that madman and he doesn't manage to slip out. A Day of History today. |

i am not normally one to praise the coverage of sky news over bbc news 24, but they blew them out of the water with there coverage of the subject last night...
Alex Crawford was Fantastic in her reporting on the way into the centre of Tripoli....

They've caught two of Gaddafi's sons now. Govt people are leaving the hotels where the journalists have been forced to report from. The Libyan fighters can sense blood now and are pouring into Tripoli. He's finished. |

Well dunno bout free. They will have to pass by the ritualy of regionalist and clan infighting and economic disputes but at least they will be some way towards it. |

Let's hope the new Libyan government doesn't set about a bloodthirty programme of retribution against anyone who worked under Gaddafi's regime as the one thing they will need is administrators and people who know how to run the many facets of a country.
They'll need an army too to maintain order in what will prove to be a turbulent transitional period of a people who are known for tribal in-fighting. |
