So my eldest turns 18 this weekend, yes its been 18 years in the planning. Yet today suddenly I really want to run away and hide. I don't feel adult enough myself to have an adult child 
Not sure why i am posting this hear, feels bad saying it anywhere else my boy may see. |

His journey into adulthood will be far from traditional thanks to
f¥$#ing sh1te learning disabilities, ADHD and an anxiety disorder.
He will likely always be dependent upon me for support so I'm a bit taken aback by how I feel. The human brain is complex isn't it!  |

My youngest was 21 in June and that was a weird day. Like your son mine is also going to need support due to similar conditions but it makes you ponder their future and yours. X |

Don't worry, he'll still act like a child after his birthday. I'm 45 this year and still haven't grown up...
