After Seeside trying his experiment to try to change things around here, I thought the same.
The usual people always start the same threads here. Yes they do. I post a thread daily (probably) and we all could name others that always (and I mean ALWAYS) post the same threads or post something everyday.
So, on Monday if your all for it. If you always regularly post threads. Don't. Just for the one day.
And if you dont regularly post threads or have never posted one, do.
Let's talk about something else, let's talk about what you want to.

I rarely start a thread. ..normally because I don't want you all to tell me how great I am, you can fab my pics if you like but I won't fab yours unless I actually like them. I'm not looking to flirt with all and sundry and I certainly have no intention of meeting anyone, I don't want to know if you want to kiss fuck chuck off a bridge, I don't have anything that I want to publicly whinge about, I don't want the site to change and I really don't want your advice on my profile. Thanks all the same. I don't care if you prefer boobs or bums. I have both and I'm losing neither so tough. Oh and I'm not interested in anyone else's preferences. If there are any other reasons for starting a thread then I'll find it and I'll start one   |

I can remember starting a thread that a forum regular does as well as a few other regulars as no one had done it that day, It didn't go down well

there would be more for monday im constantly generating , however i haven't got one as good yet' as a particular nocturnal thread the posse did a couple of years ago,17 threads long in one night, the 'tesco' thread if anyone remembers that or, the 'one man garden shed gangbang'..i miss those times of crying with laughter ... |

I don't start threads. I am not a proactive forum fabber; I'd rather dip in and out and be reactive when I feel spurred to do so. I have to be mentally active in real life; the forums are an occasional form of escapism so starting threads seems incompatible with that. Plus no one reads my posts anyway so starting a tumble thread would be an exercise in futility even if I did start one just for the sake of doing so.
But it's a nice concept in theory, OP. Maybe there's a stimulating thread starter out there lurking in the forum wings, just waiting for the impetus to start one. |

I've been thinking about this idea but noticed something today. Sister Lisa didn't do the confession thread this morning and folk moaned that someone else dare do it. People don't like change on here, I don't think this will work. |

I wanted to do a regular post giving out handy life advice/hacks. I would call it peaches life hacks. But then I lost interest plus I'm rubbish at giving advice but I liked the irony. |

That's a completely different thing. When someone is attached to a particular thread another person's approach doesn't feel right. Either find your own niche or start random threads that's better in my opinion |

I've just read the thread and I really can't see people moaning in it. I think a few of them were tongue in cheek complaints - the posters then went on to interact with the OP so evidently weren't that hurt by the change! Language is open to interpretation I guess. Meh.
Anyways OP, am trying to think of a thread. I might stop soon and just wait for random inspiration to strike. |

I never said it's not acceptable. It was just an idea to change things up a bit.
I might be the only one who thinks things get a little stale in here, but rather than moan about it. I thought asking for help - newbies/lurkers/shy peeps to post. It was just an idea. I'm trying it. I'll reply to who's I can and spark interest. |

Girl called red unicorn did the thread.
She used to do a similar thread in the Ireland room but then had crap to deal with on the Ireland threads.
It shows that often the forums can be a little unwelcoming to change or something different but instead of complaining about who can run what thread because they always did...
Perhaps we should be more welcoming and open to change....and give those who at least start the threads....well some of the threads...a break.
