Men's flawed sense of what women should think.

Was that grammatically correct?

Surely attraction is unique to the individual?

What does it matter that a majority are attracted to the Ryan Reynolds', Matt Smiths? Who gives a fuck about consensus and who has the right to question it?

Attraction isn't a democracy for fuck sake.

People get upset when someone they find attractive, isn't attracted to them. They then go on to get annoyed because they believe all women want a certain type of man which isn't a category they fall into. They also believe women should be attracted to who men want women to be attracted to

I think men struggle to understand that female attraction isn't always as binary as male attraction

Just look at rich famous succesful people who probably have their pick of partners, so many more men are with young classically attractive women whereas women choose a much wider range of partners

Never assume.

"Women" as a whole aren't attracted to one particular thing, the same goes for men.

Have you seen the thread questioning why women aren't attracted to specific people?

.

I think the OP of that particular thread is a returned former forumite and it's not entirely serious...

"Have you seen the thread questioning why women aren't attracted to specific people?"

Yes. And when it comes to the celebrity men listed on there as either/or choices I fall on the 'actually, none of the above' spectrum. And it's entirely down to the way the said few men's personalities have/are portrayed in the media that puts me off rather than their looks since I don't know any of them as private individuals. Right wing Communist Witch hunt instigator in old Hollywood? Posh fop? Apparently very nice man who doesn't seem remotely kinky? D*unkard? No, none do it for me. It's rather a random selection.

I fancy anyone I think is fit. I expect everyone else to be the same.
