I dont know how many others got strange phone calls but i know a few like me that got a lot. It was NOT me. This is hard to explain, but it was like this, this scottish man was ringin two fab members at a time, and conecting there calls together thro a blocked number. I had over a few, another member had about 15, and another one had even more than that. So how the hell can you even connect two calls together???? I will be deleting my account soon, its already been hidden, but I will open another one up, any way did any one else get strange calls last night xx |

Actually you dont have to change your number at all
If hes doing it via a withheld number your provider can block all withheld number coming thro to your phone
Either that or just ignor any number thats withheld |

Report it to your phone network provider, they will have visability of who did what.
Did the guy speak to just you or to the other people also?
Are they people you had the numbers for? |

"Get a very loud whistle and if he rings again blow it hard,he will soon stop lol"
Nah, just hang up the phone, it's a lot easier and doesn't waste your breathe either.
To the OP if you are serious about what you have told him then go to the Police to see what they can do to stop it, otherwise posting this on here is just giving him what he wants i.e. he will be seeing it is getting to you, although you are saying it isn't. |

Posting it on here was not to ego boost the idiot but to let others know and to clear my name as people thought it was me. x |

Posting on here won't clear your name... reporting it to the appropriate service provider and police might though. |

Maybe you didn't intend to boost his ego but you probably have and if you seriously want it stopped then get it stopped, a quick call to your Service Provider would do just that.
For him to be able to conference call "others" on here means he must have their numbers also, so a few calls to the Police saying what has happened would stop him doing it to you all. |

IN fact the best way to prove it wasn't you is to encourage the other people to report it.
Though I am not sure how if the other people couldn't see your number, how they would think it was you... or know who you are for that matter.
Unless he only rang people you know and have the number for.... which raises the question how he also had their numbers and knew you knew them.
It may be (if you have bluetooth and not reset your code) he has accessed your contacts on your phone.... but then, how would he know which were fellow fabbers and which were not or worse still work related.
If they were numbers he has been collecting, why would people make the connection to you?

I`ve got 2 phones..
Some time ago I got malacious calls ..the guy was going to do me some serious harm, I ignored it.. but when a friend got the same type of call, I felt it needed dealing with....
The old Bill, wasn`t very interested, holding the _iew, the guy needed to know my address, not being able to answer that question, led to me walking out the police station, with the feeling I`d been humoured..in fairness, they get so many enquiries about threatening and malascious calls, they only act when its a demonstrable threat..
The service provider was reluctant to help...and as I knew this guy was prolly using a throw away sim , it was a mugs game anyway...
The end result ...fuck all...
The best resolution was fer me to ignore any further calls....they get bored...and if my conscience is clear, then alls good...
Move on and get another phone..learn from it.. |
