So one of my eyes is bloodshot and looks a little freaky, how long does it usually take for it to go away you reckon?

Deeping St James

It depends on how you got it. I had one that cleared up over night, think caused by rubbing due to hayfever, another time took 2 days

Northampton Somewhere

Depends if you've got something in it.

Nurse Lick would recommend a couple of eye washes before bed and bathe it with cooled boiled water

If it's not better after 2 days call me

Worthing

Sounds like conjunctivitis. Unless it's painful, leave it alone. Don't touch! You can spread it to the other eye. I had this a couple of years ago. Looks worse than it is and went after 2-3 days. If painful, go to docs.
