So I recently got a smart tv. Abloustly love it. Only problem is I somehow keep casting what I am googling to the tv. I don't know how. If be just in Google looking something up and the kids will start giving out as there cartoons are gone off the tv. Now it hasn't happened when I've been on fab but am extremely nervous that it could. I have often casted youtube to the tv to watch things but didn't think I could do the same with Google. Has anyone had this happen before and does anyone know how I can stop it before my kids see more than they should

Would you believe I'm not sure how to do it. My eldest boy does it. He also manages to do it with his tablet.

I'm not sure. My young lad calls it casting something to the tv. I don't really understand it. He would use youtube on my phone and is able to put it to the tv.

If you are using Samsung's "Smart View" you can switch it off.

Drag the menu down from the top with two fingers, swipe left to get the second page and look for "Smart View" (Screen with Arrow) switch it off till you need to use it.

If you pull two fingers down from the top of screen some settings should pop up and one of them is screen mirroring and can just tap it to turn it on/off.

In which case, see if you can find out the name of the App that you use. Your son will know.

I've asked him. He thinks it's something to do with my email. I used the same for my phone as the tv. He reckons the two accounts are linked. I looked the internet up on the tv and anything I've googled on the phone is also in the tv google history. Does this make sense
