I have noticed a bit of a trend of people posting in their profile six foot plus ie 6'3" then I look at them against something and think your only 5'8" if that ! I was wondering if anyone has gone on a meet only to find someone far smaller than they advertise?  |

I dated a woman in the early 00s who said she'd met a guy online who said he was 6' but was only 5'4". She asked why he'd lied about his height and he said he didn't think she'd have met him, because she was tall. As if meeting a guy who will lie about his height was his best chance of success.
An ex of mine was tall but went out with a guy who was short. I have to say it looked she was walking her chimp. But they lasted longer than we did, so love is blind, unless you're a liar as well as a shortarse. |

Height doesn't really matter to me so it isn't something I notice.
Although, one guy I met was super tall, and I hadn't thought to check his height on his profile so I was surprised  No joke, when I mentioned it he said he was 6'5". It was a bit awkward, but he was able to fuck me standing up so it worked out ok.  |

Been pleasantly surprised at how short a meet was, as I love short ladies, but never really pay attention to height as most people are shorter when you're this tall. |

My height is my real height, but for dating sites if you're 6' then you lose a few and under 5'10" the number of interested women drops off a cliff pretty quickly. |

I've met guys that have stated they're 5'10 but when stood next to me they're barely taller than me. Had guys be a bit cagey with their cock size and not send me pictures of it in full glory yet give assurances that it's over 7 inches in length. They must think that once they're there in the flesh that I'll just go along with it even though their penis is smaller. I absolutely will not and then they bitch and moan at me afterwards. |

We're only looking for a guy who's taller than Mrs Flirty (6ft minimum) and if we met someone who had lied about it we'd walk away. We've lost count of the number of guys who've told us that height (and age) shouldn't matter to us blah blah blah but it does. The whole reason we're here is to fulfil our desires not justify what our preferences are. Yes of course nice guys come in all ages, shapes and sizes but for us, in this context, we want a taller guy in our chosen age range who meets our other requirements and vice versa. |

There's a guy in here, fairly local to me, who not only lies about his height, but also his age. He keeps rejoining with a new profile, stating he is aged 45, and over 6 ft tall. These are two of the Fab 'Holy Trinity' (under 45, over 6 ft, can accommodate), and ensure he is successful in here. Works for him, and I'm sure for others  |

I unintentionally lied on our original profile nearly 2yrs ago, I thought I was 4ft 11 however I actually measured myself earlier this year and am a mere 4ft 9! Seems I lost 2 inches in the last 16yrs

Funny this really ,I am 6'3 and guess what ...I'd be much happier around 5'10 ,don't k ow what the fuss is about being tall is over rated ...and as for getting gloves to fit the shovel hands at work forget it ,shoes ?....give me a size ten or eleven as opposed to thesebloddy size 12's they never have in the shop in the shoe you want .....yes life's so much better being over 6ft !! |

In just the same way that some people here are seeking particular forms of sexual activity, some people are seeking particular types of people whether in terms of age, body type, height, sexual preferences or whatever. If someone has a thing about tall guys what's the problem with that? What does it matter to anyone else? Their reasons are their own and surely everyone's entitled to state what they want/don't want. If people don't want what we have to offer that's entirely up to them, we just wait for someone else to come along who does and then the fun begins just as it has in the past... 
It all boils down to personal choice and stating a preference for a physical type isn't any more derogatory than preferring Indian food to Chinese when eating out. |

The only meet we've had where a guy was noticeably different to the height on his profile he was actually several inches taller. He had himself as slightly shorter than us but when he turned up he was well over 6' I wasn't complaining but did ask him about it and he said he didn't know how tall he was so had guessed. I suggested he amended it to the right height as 6'+ seems so desirable on here. |

I'm really am 6'2". And yes I see lots of people claiming to be 6'+ and I stand next to them and think no way. I am regularly the tallest person on my tubes rides to and from work. I don't see how a good % of the male population can claim to be 6'+.

It's a deterrent if they lie about their age. You arrive early and could have secured the last baby chair for them to sit in comfortably, instead of a full sized chair. It can make recognition harder too, if the place is busy |

I'm 6' in my bare feet, and I do like my heels when I'm out.
So height is always something I check.
Seen so many profiles listed as 6' but sonething in background of photo, a door etc as previously mentioned gives it away.
Once met a guy off a dating site who'd listed as 6' but was more 5'9" when he turned up. Also looked about 10yrs older than he'd stated.
I can't grasp why people lie about such basic things. Which of course makes you then think what else is a lie |
