It's up to you to get the invites. You search the parties/events. Choose one that you like the look of, and ask for the invite.

You'll be waiting a long time for someone to invite you out of the blue.

They are not being sarcastic. They are being realistic. You may want to listen to them.

Oh dear.

Guys, you don't help your case when you post a thread, and then start having a pop at people who either post advice that you aren't happy with, or make jokey comments that you get snotty about.

Bottom line, we are not here to spoon-feed you opportunities on a plate, you need to do your research, read the thread history before posting, and be respectful of people who take the time to offer advice.

There is a meet forum for these type of threads isn't there?

Where's the sarcasm in my responses?

Tell you what, do yourself and all of us a favour then and not ask any more 'advice' if you don't want to hear the answers.

There's no sarcasm in any of our posts OP, perhaps try taking the advice you've been given, or is this just another look at me I'm entitled thread? Your friend request has not been accepted as I've never spoken to or met you by the way!

I thought they were sarcastic as well to be fair

I also took your post to be light hearted and fun. I'm not sure I'm liking these forums to be honest. Bit too uptight for me
