Yep, and veritrail.
I get unreasonably annoyed if I see they have more verifications than they have published...even though I only show one of mine, and it could be because some of theirs have keft the site.

Yes and like PPs may have a look at their veri trail. I think you can get a feel for the sort of meets they are into, sometimes very different to what we are looking for, which will come into our decision making. |

Always. Then I look at those left by the lady I am interested in.
It's how she relates her experience that tells me about her perceptions, needs and wants.
I may go a few steps further to check this was normal for both...and always looking for bareback pics

i just notice if theres one there; i think theyre completely worthless as a guide to what someone is actually like or whether i'd like them as theyre all pretty much identical |

I dont mind reading them quickly, I'm not that overly concerned about things outwith my control(not that I'd wish to control them anyway). If its someone new and I'm unsure, yes I will dig a little.
my verifies would really be almost double what they are if I was still using the same profile for my years of 'service'- so if someones put off now by the amount....oh well, of course the contents vary depending on the types of meets I've had.
I no longer lose sleep on people who dont want to meet me based on my past,present and future meets. |

Oh. But...what's wrong with a player? And that one with a few on could be hiding the 200 in their back pocket. Or, as is often the case with meets, met far more than have verified them. They could also have been on here for 13 months or eight years. Isn't it all a bit judgey to worry about the number of veris on display? |

Always, and veri trail. It's just due diligence. I don't have a tame male standing by to protect me if it goes horribly wrong.
Similar to the precautions I take in other parts of my life.
I've read a few of these threads recently with some claiming they never read veris and it's starting to wind me up. Seriously, would you be able to look the police in the eye and tell them you hadn't done everything in your power to ensure you were going to be safe?

I understand what you're saying...
But consider this..
1) someone who has no verifications after several months on site is 'likely' to be a fantasist- just here to window shop and wind-up and doesn't really meet.
OR has met people for a social/sex who have nothing good to say/refuse to verify them. I've met a couple guys who I've absolutely not verified, because they were dicks. Not in the good way...
2) I try to read between the lines. And look for trends in what people who've met them had to say. E.g. Is 'polite' 'reliable' or whatever key traits you're looking for listed in there. Yes, people are kind with veri's- they wouldn't be published otherwise... but sometimes it gives a wee clue as to personality.
Especially the guys whose veri's have met them on more than one occasion. Surely not going to meet someone again if he/she is awful... |

But consider this..

People can use veri's however they like. If they'd prefer to meet people with only 2 showing then good for them.
I don't see why this is seen as an issue. People wanting to see a minimum of 4 veri's are never bitched at in threads the same way. So why can't they want to meet people with less than 3?
People are always judging on veri content. Taking the word of a total stranger is apparently a safe thing to do. |

My verifications show very little about me. I might read other peoples' verifications but don't take much notice, unless they speak of bareback gang bangs or other practices I try to avoid. |

I verify people I've met for coffee. They were lovely. Maybe they are a psychopath at sex.
8 glowing verifications on show. 56 hidden veri's that say the person wrecked their house and shit on their sofa.
No veri'a showing so 'they clearly have something to hide'. In reality they had 6 lovely verifications but the women left the site due to other horrible men and now the nice guy can't show any.
Straight man with 4 woman, 1 tv and 2 man veri's on his summary. All from a social but people won't meet him because they think he's a secret gay.
People can have as many profiles on as many sites as they want. You meet them on the 'nice' Fab profile. Other people meet them on their secret gay/ married/ bareback/ escort/ gangbang/ sock fetish profile.

Yes , we read veris , and do the trail .
Why wouldn't we ? It's a way to learn a little bit more about a potential meet . I get the bit about all being the same , and no bad ones etc.... but it isn't difficult to get an idea about someone if they showing a few rather than none .
It's not always the case that all veris are the same either . Some of the more detailed will give an idea of the type of kink that may enjoy too . It's one thing putting it on your profile , quite another to actually do it . If we are looking for a specific , we are far more likely to meet someone who has a veri that says they are into it by actually engaging in it , than one that doesn't .
Despite the fact that there are a few forum users who hate the veri system , I think it's a great tool and it's served us well over the years |

They're the best reason to be on this site, no offence intended, forumistas, but really. Those other sites don't have verifications and it's harder to spot timewasters there. Coincidence? Pth. |
