The actual word means plain and uninteresting.

But im sure most "vanilla's have a perfectly wonderful sex life. But it is a generic term that swingers use to describe non swingers

I have never heard the word Vanilla used as anything but a flavouring, part of a plant.

Vanilla sex however, is different, but I am sure that people who partake in it in their eyes do not find it plain and uninteresting.

But yes we can describe them as vanillas'
