Just outside the city with easy access into the centre as like peace and quiet but also like being close to the buzz and the nightlife. Activities and gigs.

After a lot of traveling and seeing most lifestyles no. I'm stuck between a farm/ranch in the middle of nowhere, or small town to living in a deserted beach. I love being away from all of the hustle/bustle and the cities are to crowded with idiots mainly. But I do like close friends who are nearby. I get lonely very quickly.

Currently I live 1 mile inside a small city, 3 miles to the centre.

But 1 also own 2 acres of woodland in a valley 2 miles from home, currently it has a clearing with a loo and a tree house I can sleep in. There is solar powered lighting with possibility of charging my phone, and I am putting in an underground rain water collector. I WOULD LIKE to build a full off grid cabin there eventually.

So have the best of both city facilities and country remoteness.

Don't fancy living on the coast, but do like to avoid people quite often these days.

I've lived in a big city but moved to literally the middle of nowhere. It was strange at first and took a lot of getting use to but I actually prefer it here.

I'm not far from the coast but I prefer countryside and forests anyway.

I would dearly love to be residing by the sea and be able to pull back the curtains and see the waves every morning... but I would also need to have a reasonable population and amenities close by... not necessarily a big busy place, but not a tiny village that is virtually shut in the off season either (I know, I am such a fussy fecker)
