How much do you want to spend? I bought a Nextbase 312GW at the beginning of the year from Halfords and it was reduced from £100 to £75. It is Which recommended and a very good piece of kit. I saw the cheaper ones on Ebay but decided to get something that had been independently tested. I think the price now is between £90 to £100 but refurbished ones are out there for £70.

I got one from eBay. It was good but if you ever wanted to find a recorded clip the menu was far to much work. |

I would get one.
The things you see on the roads is a nightmare, i had a hit and run. Smashed in the back if me and drove off, i couldnt believe what had just happend. I needed my car for work so i had to pay for repairs. It cost £275 to get fixed three weeks before christmas. Could of done without that. If i would of had a dash cam it would of got the twats number plate. |

It can run off its own internal battery or it can be hard wired, but even when you hard wire it to the cars electrical system you can easily unplug the power lead and remove the camera.
