It appears to me that most people mainly us single men fail to hold a decent conversation. That said I have found some women to be the same anyone else find this frustrating?

We don't find it frustrating at all as we aren't here for the art of conversation .

The art of conversation is also two-sided.

I often find that conversation is stopped dead by monosyllabic answers and ignoring questions within the original missive.

But...it works as a good filter to anyone who wabts to use these as tools to out those who are wind up merchants, scammers, or just plain time wasters.

Good conversation between people leads to stimulation of other areas. Stimulate the mind and the body follows.

It's even worse on places like tinder. Dear lord, it's enough to kill brain cells sometimes.

Ones who can't hold a decent conversation bore me. I just cut them off and find someone who can.

I have to admit I find it hard to have a decent chat by message. I get bored quickly and resort to minimal answers.

But like its been said above, conversation is a 2 way thing, I tend to give as good as I get.

I solve this by having conversations just with myself. Admittedly sometimes it gets a bit heated and an argument can break out. Some people don't appreciate this art of conversation and stand clear.

I do tend to to write a reasonable few sentences at least, with a good few questions to at least give them something to respond with, but usually struggle to get more than a couple of words reply?
