They certainly are a great live act but I will put Iron Maiden as my number one live band. Although Rammstein are up there along with Airbourne.

Going to see them next month. Its been a while so I'm looking forward to it. I've never been at a Foo's gig were large portions of the crowd walked out. They slay it everytime I've seen them.

Whilst they are a brilliant band, I have other likey ones. Kasabian stand out for live performance, as do The Prodigy. All different but equally bloody excellent!

Foo Fighters = music for people that don't like music. Dreadful, poppy, commercial bullshit rock. Urgh.

Good to see you respecting others opinions and not deriding them for their choices there fella

I was being lighthearted - my comment is widely known, and actually not my own! I cannot claim to be the originator of the line!

Ah, the beauty of text. An emoji may have assisted in the lightheartedness coming across. Apologies for taking it as read.

They sometimes send another band and you like them because you believe you've seen the actual one.

I saw Placebo years ago, and Robert Smith came on and did the encore with them. Brian Molko nearly pissed himself with excitement

A favourite band of mine were asked by Robert Smith to support the Cure on their most recent World Tour. Wee band from just outside Glasgow called the Twilight Sad. It meant the world to them and was a great thing for him to do for a band he is a fan of.

FF are a great rock band...probably best at the mo. Best live band for me is AC/DC. Saw them in my teens and on the Black Ice tour. Better 2nd time.

Green Day by far the best band we have seen. Billie Joe is an awesome front man (and is M's man crush). He just has so much charisma.

Always admired the Foo's older material pre 2000's tho I did see them at Glastonbury this year and they pulled off a fantastic headline show.

Seen them twice at festivals, but not as headliners - have to say they were dull as dishwater both times...
