Really wish i could be there to see this living legend become even more legendary.
Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) has broken many a record during his career, and at Silverstone it will be time to make history once again: the ‘Doctor’ will be lining up for his record 300th premier class start. No other rider in history has reached that number – and the rider from Tavullia shows no sign of slowing down. |

I do genuinely think next year will be his last competing in moto gp. From interviews and just little things put on social media. I will be devasted if I dont get to see him race live again though.
But I've followed Valentino since his 125 days... So it will be a sad day when he retires from racing. Although Mr troy corser and Bayliss.. we're both considerably older before they retired. And Niall McKenzie still gets his leathers on every now and then.... And not forgetting quite a few of the ban gents are of the older range... including Mr Chris walker ( although he is now in side cars)
So maybe there is plenty of race left in the old goat yet. X |

Most of the names there cannot be mentioned in the same breatb as the doctor, with the exeption of bayliss who beat them all as a wildcard in valencia |

All amazing riders in their own right... sadly we have lost a few others id have mentioned and personally think the bsb riders are exceptional.
Many come from a different age.. but my point being still racing well into their 40s x |

I think Rossi will be racing in MotoGP for a few more years, he clearly still has the talent and the hunger to be on the top step of the podium, hes probably already got his future all planned out... retire from racing at the age of 46? Be the oldest rider to start and win in the premier class? Breaking more records is a given, then become team owner/manager in all classes using riders from his VR Academy, training them at his ranch. He may explore his love of 4 wheels too, hes already dabbled with WRC, and F1 with Ferrari. |

Ive just got all my camping stuff sorted and im knackered. Gota say where i was sat you could tell 3 laps before dovi went past that rossi had lost his rear tyre. Sliding like mad thu woodcote corner. Still great weekend down there tho. Been every year since 04 and this has been the best. Great weather for camping. Copious amounts of booze. Great bands and rossi on rostrum. Next year San marino tho because itll be vr last year i believe so watch him on his home soil and see what party tge italians can lay on |
