Radio 4 presenters used to.
I like the fact that there is a tla (three letter abbreviation) for tla's.
Not a fan of lol, but I have been known to use it to convey mirth. |

Ahh thanks for the info (don't mind this abbreviation). Agreed, I've not met anyone who says that. Would probably avoid if I did.

MMF means two blokes and one woman, whatever way they want to do it, and just sounds right if you say it out loud. Saying mfm out loud just sounds awkward. |

I work for the NHS - abbreviations and acronyms are my life 
hru is my current hate. 'How are you?' Is only a handful or two of extra characters *rolls eyes*. Just generally, 'bae' irritates the everlasting fuck out of me |
