Summer holiday fatigue

Mold

With just over two weeks left of the school holidays, is anyone else finding that they're more tired than usual?

I'm finding that my sleep patterns are more disturbed, and I'm much more listless and slightly more irritable

I can't wait to get back to the usual term time routines and daily work schedules

And it's not just me, but the sprogs too, boredom setting in, and most of the activities/ ideas have been used up

I'm all for a shorter summer break

My sleep pattern is a bit screwed up but I love being off with the kids. Dreading September.

It seems to have gone so fast this year for me. A week away with the kids and a weekend at Legoland. Whizzed past. Not sure i like that. I seemed to have more days out with them last year.

Weather has been spectacularly rubbish too.

But yes....back on the treadmill of usual routine soon.

Definitely not. Love the summer break. I have had a fantastic time so far and I'm sure the next two weeks will be just as good

Hiding in the shadows

I love the holidays, as one of my sons attends residential school, having him home is wonderful.

But saying that, my house now resembles a war zone, trying to constantly tidy up after them is like trying to bail out the Titanic with a teacup.

And I've totally lost track of what day it is, spect several hours last week planning a day out, only to wake the next day & realise it was Friday, not Thursday!

Only 18 days to go!
