My phone goes into meltdown when there's more than 800 messages total. Then I just delete the whole fookin lot. Makes sense to me.

i never have many, i do a block delete about once a week, cant see point in saving them for months

I lost all my very special ones after I accidentally deleted them all,poems and naughty ones from Rob and funny ones from the children

I don't keep many on there now

mine stores as conversations so doesn't tell me how many total just how many per convo n i can't be arsed to add them all up but i can see from a glance its in the 1000s easily

I delete all mine except the special ones but i dont have text conversations. Generally one or two text backwards and forwards to a person and thats it, im old fashioned i like to speak on the telephone
