that's rude.
Among my contemporaries the art of conversation is as alive as it ever was. I see people sitting in cafes etc reading newspapers and not talking to each other and I noticed a young man walking down the street reading a book at 7:30 the other morning 
Some people are conversationalists and some aren't.
I do see groups of younger people all sitting quietly staring at their phones but I also see groups of younger people chatting and laughing.
So I don't know. |
