Pretty much the whole of Counting Crows "Across A Wire" album. There's just something about Adam Duritz's voice that never fails to move me. |

It can all depend on what mood I'm in and the circumstances. One piece of music might be apt for one occasion but not for another. I also like quite a few hymns which I seem to sing to myself on occasions! Lol |

There and to the left a bit |
Two spring to mind:
Elgar's Nimrod - every time it's played it gets me - the version they use in the film Dunkirk is very powerful
Bell Jar - Louise & The Pins
https://youtu.be/0CFX4o__fNg
Moved me to tears the first time I heard it and still gets me when it comes on now |

I don't know exactly why but the Kinks' Waterloo Sunset always has me tearing up - I think it's because it conjures up memories of London past for me. Barber's Adagio for Strings also sets me off, as does Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor and Sakamoto's theme for Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence. |

Definitely, I was in the Military and was a coffin carrier in around 30 funerals, some of them mates. A very emotive piece of music for me. |

Songbird Eva Cassidy
Time after Time Eva Cassidy
Over the Rainbow Eva Cassidy
Seems to be a pattern developing. Voice of liquid emotion that I could and do listen to time after time.
Sadly she has gone but her voice remains...
