Find a slightly-boring radio show on Radio 4 on iplayer. Turn the volume really low and put it under your pillow. It should distract you enough to stop your brain chatting to you, but won't be interesting enough to keep you awake.

You know wine is more acidic than sucking on a lemon but because of the high sugar content it is not so sharp.
Wine really does require training of the pallet like most good liquor. Some people also just don't know what's good for them... |

When I've a cold, I smash the hot drinks is what I find works for me. I don't like tea or coffee normality but I will occasionally. What I have found is good but is bithermal when you drink is couple of teaspoons honey with half squeezed lemon juice in cup of hot water and dash of cinnamon.
The only thing I have from that list is honey! Tho brandy may help x

You know wine is more acidic than sucking on a lemon but because of the high sugar content it is not so sharp.
Wine really does require training of the pallet like most good liquor. Some people also just don't know what's good for them...
