I've been quite lucky. I have a short attention span though so if it doesn't look like it's going to pan out I move on.

Finding new people purely off the site can be tedious. We have had most fun by meeting at clubs on party nights or all-girl nights and pre-chatting on fab with others who 'are' going. If they don't turn up, there's no great loss, we are at the party night with others who do and have fun regardless.
We've not arranged a private meet purely off fab in a while. |

I've often felt like stopping searching for new meets on here, as like some of the others have experienced in this thread, there are many fakes, timewasters and guys who let me down or stand me up, so now I am not actively seeking anymore... I dont need to as I am very lucky to have some great regular playpartners who I've already established a bond with. |

In all 3 cases they have then started coming up with obstacles and excuses.
We just lose all interest as it's not worth the hassle.

Put your name down for a social.
Book a hotel near the venue.
Message people who also put their names down that you'd like to meet them at the social and see how it goes.
Network during the social.
Club a few saucy types over the heads and drag them back to have your wicked way with in your hotel room.

I love new meets but seems to take such a long time to organise or they want right there and then. Having explained in my profile that I can't meet immediately. is frustrating when people last minute cancel or tell you they can't do that say you agreed on or this or that or go silent on the day. but I hardly ever have fun with myself- if I do its more of a fuck and go lol right to the point. not much fun... |

I have to agree OP. But I've always maintained to have a coffee requires a contract signed in blood with a face pic less than 2 minutes old before they consider it... still no guarantee they will even turn up.
I've no plans on meeting anyone new for for sealed future as it's far to much work for a 30 min. coffee.
Maybe things will change after kids go back to school. |
