I thought i'd mention a little known but fantastic 'unofficial' nudist beach on one of the other threads as i think it's well worth checking out, it's often deserted and the scenery on the long walk down to it is spectacular
Unfortunately it's name is the same word for putting your hands around someone's neck and squeezing and i'm not allowed to write it. As a further clue try taking the second 'r' from Hugh Cornwell's old band.
It lies on the north cornwall coast between Boscastle and Crackington Haven. |

Helps to know the rules. I usually know I'm going to be banned for 24hrs before I press enter lol |

Not that i'm aware of. There's little parking available, absolutely no facilities and it's quite a trek down from the road which is probably why it was deserted when we went. The end result is well worth the effort though. I think it's one of the most beautiful coastal spots in England. |

I think it's for any public space you intend to use for nefarious purposes. Saves the site owners getting dragged into the legal nitty gritty. They've given us this site for free.. We kind of owe them peace of mind by attempting to stick to most of the rules, most of the time. |

"Someone used the N word on here the other day.
Surprised that was allowed to slide "
It depends in which context it's used as to whether offence need be taken.
If it's spelt in a certain way and used in humour, in a positive way. I've no problem with that word. I fully understand it's history and the connotations. I know I am not racist, so feel confident and comfortable using it, as I grew up in that culture where it was used as a positive.
We are thinking the same word right? I'm not being a dunce. |

I use it like Denzel Washington in Training Day. An ultimate compliment to my best friends or people brave enough to say it how it is. |

Says you. Difference of opinion. Personally I believe I have ownership over anything I like.
If I want to punch a man in a wheelchair because he's been a dick!? Can I? Ofcourse I can.
If it comes from a place of warmth and no harm.is intended.. I can say whatever I like, whether you like it or not.
I respect your view, I use it sparingly. Whether I am black or not is irrelevant to me. I see no colour. |

I'm happy to steal the best bits of every culture. I grew up in Middle East, Africa, South America, Europe and the Armed Forces.

Says me? I thought it was common decency to not use racist language in 2017.
Do you call black people it? Have you ever asked a black person what they think of your casual use of it? I doubt you'd find many fans.

Lots of times, usually it's said to me first, in real life or in videogames. Replace the A for ER and I'd have as big a problem as you do.. even if it were meant in jest.

Then I'm afraid you both need to "Get out" A bit more. Out of respect to you both, I'll avoid using it in here. However, don't be upset if you see me bantering back and forth with a friend who is "Allowed" To say it. I'll take their acceptance as my green light to say whatever I like again.

"Someone used the N word on here the other day.
Surprised that was allowed to slide
It depends in which context it's used as to whether offence need be taken.
If it's spelt in a certain way and used in humour, in a positive way. I've no problem with that word. I fully understand it's history and the connotations. I know I am not racist, so feel confident and comfortable using it, as I grew up in that culture where it was used as a positive.
We are thinking the same word right? I'm not being a dunce.
Erm. No. I'm not the PC police but you're a white man. You have no ownership of a racist word used in any context
Says me? I thought it was common decency to not use racist language in 2017.
Do you call black people it? Have you ever asked a black person what they think of your casual use of it? I doubt you'd find many fans.
I agree, to use the word N is totally unacceptable in this day and age, it's derogatory, offensive and horrible. XXX
Then I'm afraid you both need to "Get out" A bit more. Out of respect to you both, I'll avoid using it in here. However, don't be upset if you see me bantering back and forth with a friend who is "Allowed" To say it. I'll take their acceptance as my green light to say whatever I like again.
It is another way of saying "My brother" That is all. Why should I be left out because I'm white skinned. I've NEVER been scolded for it in my life till.. now.
Well you have now.
I'm guessing you have very few black friends in real life away from your video games.
And I get out plenty thank you. "
Oh just block me and be done with it, I really couldn't give a damn what you think about me. You know nothing about me, so judge away. |

"I thought i'd mention a little known but fantastic 'unofficial' nudist beach on one of the other threads as i think it's well worth checking out, it's often deserted and the scenery on the long walk down to it is spectacular
Unfortunately it's name is the same word for putting your hands around someone's neck and squeezing and i'm not allowed to write it. As a further clue try taking the second 'r' from Hugh Cornwell's old band.
It lies on the north cornwall coast between Boscastle and Crackington Haven.
I believe you're also not to post specific locations on a public forum
I didn't know that, they don't make it easy for us do they?
It will be in the forum rules, you just have to read them."
Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to be more careful in future. |

"I once posted a joke saying if ... hadn't meant us to wank He'd have given us shorter arms, ... was not allowed
Was that for the word god or wank?
But 'god' isn't a banned word????"
That's a relief, unless they draw a distinction between 'god' and 'God'. Let's wait and see. |

"The site has to have some way to automatically moderate the content of threads to legal activities.
But lots of the banned words can also be needed in normal discussions. Not easy, unfortunately."
At least we don't have the Scunthorpe problem that the last forum I was on had. |

Well I've reported myself to Admin. Am prepared to argue the case if they are willing to listen. Prepared to take the ban if they deem appropriate. But I'm having nobody call me racist! It's not my fault you feel that way. |

Its when people misspell profile. You get pie
You have to work hard at it too, as the site automatically corrects it. As I just found out! |
