What have you gained from Fab?

Yesterday I read a book recommended by a forumite that I thoroughly enjoyed and would probably not have read otherwise.
It got me thinking about the positives I've gained from Fab that are not just sexual. It made me realise other than good book recommendations, I've gained a much wider vocabulary (although the word felching is still quite hard to fit into every day conversation!), I've made some great friends, both male and female and I even got given a box of milk tray once 
So what have you gained from Fab?  |

Apart from all the things you've already said, I now listen to bands I'd never have known about and my Spotify playlist is full of stuff that's either new or I'd totally forgotten about! |

The positives.
I've learnt a lot about myself, my confidence has grown. I've finally been able to accept things about myself I was unsure about.
I've been educated!
I've met some amazing people, and not just for sex, people I'd never have met but now call friends.
I've had conversations about anything & everything, I've laughed & I've cried while sharing support with some.
I've also found several real life friends on here, that's led to an even better friendship.
The only negative really was loosing someone, but I can now say with hindsight, it really was a blessing in disguise.
I'm sure I coukd think of a dozen more positives, but I nerd more tea first |

A partner and two best friends.
So many good recipes and restaurant recommendations.
Hilarious nights that didn't involve sex.
A love of artists I hadn't heard before.
Yeah, it's been alright.

People I like. They're the most important thing I've gained. Some of whom I've met, some of whom I actually haven't, but there are definitely some people from here I would be glad to consider friends regardless of sex. |

I've gained confidence and had some sexual experiences I never thought I'd do or enjoy prior to fab. Also made a couple of good friends and learnt a whole bunch of things through reading the forums |

Other than sexual ?
We've learned there are a hell of a lot of dreamers , wannabes , timewasters and general knobheads on here .
We've also learned that for every one of the above there are some wonderful , genuine and fun people on here too .

Oh my God I've had meets with guys that I thought I could only admire from a distance. I've had sex in all sorts of scenarios and satisfied my bi side. I've laughed, cried and despaired at times.
On the whole it's been a real eye opener and a period of my life I'll never ever forget.

Oh I've lost something. 1 1/2 stones
On a more serious note, well not really, but I got a cracking recipe for Bread. I still managed to mess it up but I don't think that was the recipes fault. My kneading skills are rubbish |

I met a few people I'm happy to have met. I hope we stay in touch when I go back home, but sadly I doubt it. I'm thankful to them for being friends while I've been in a new country, though. |
